A close relative of Cyborg's family, a big trafficker from Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis), was killed on April 25 in a parking lot in Argenteuil (Val

Drug trafficking pays off and power struggles in the narco-banditry scene often turn out to be a blast.

Among the latest examples of settling scores against a background of traffic, on April 25, 2021 in Argenteuil (Val-d'Oise), Tidjani Walid.

K, 32, was shot dead in the parking lot of the Burger King restaurant.

The man was already known for three drug cases since 2014.

His lifeless body was found by the police at 12:45 a.m. on the seat of a Renault Scénic, fatally injured in the back, shoulder and left buttock.

Witnesses, questioned by officials, ensure that they heard several detonations and the noise of windows.

Three 12-gauge holsters were discovered at the crime scene.

“He was a trafficker who was close to the family of the late Cyborg, who ran one of the mega ovens in the Paris region, the Cité Charles-Schmidt in Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis) before being him -even shot by a burst of assault rifle, ”says a source close to the case.

Cyborg vs. Unhealthy

This blood trail would lead to this town, known to host important deal points, where traffickers regularly die under the bullets of their competitors. The end of Mohamed G, 35, the famous Cyborg, is a textbook case. At 35, he was shot dead on August 24, 2019 in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis), as part of a war opposing him to Unhealthy, a 31-year-old rap producer and head of the traffickers network Boute-en-train, in the heart of fleas, currently on the run in Morocco.

It was around 9:30 p.m., rue Ouvrières-Pivereuses that the drama began.

The killers, traveling in a black Mercedes and armed with a Kalashnikov rifle, opened fire on the trafficker, under the gaze of a CCTV camera.

The driver was killed instantly and his passenger sustained a right calf injury.

The killers' car was found set on fire in Argenteuil with the rifle inside.

Paris Criminal Squad investigators discovered that Cyborg's car had been "tagged" by his killers, who watched him before killing him. The investigation flourished thanks to telephony, the analysis of data from encrypted networks and CCTV footage allowed officials to identify the team that participated in the facts. These men were arrested on June 23, 2020, before being indicted by a judge of the JIRS (specialized interregional jurisdiction) of Paris.

None of these men revealed any information to the courts.

The hypothesis adopted is indeed that of a turf war.

According to several sources, urban renewal in Saint-Ouen is not unrelated to the series of murders that have plagued the city for two years.

She drove the traffickers into a fight for dealer space.

Rivalry and turf war between criminals

Since the beginning of the year, several settlements have been made in Ile-de-France. In Paris, in the 16th arrondissement, where a Marseillais of Comorian origin was killed and a young woman seriously injured. In Pantin, an attempted murder against a backdrop of rivalry between supporters of the city of bananas in the twentieth arrondissement during which a child was shot and wounded. And Tuesday April 27, 2021 in Noisiel (Seine-et-Marne), an "execution" cost the life of a young man of 26 years.

According to figures from the Ministry of the Interior, in 2020, the Paris region deplored 23 settling of accounts between criminals, including 8 for Seine-Saint-Denis alone. During this same period, 75 facts were recorded throughout the national territory by the Central Office for the Fight against Organized Crime, ie a dozen more in a year. The human toll is 108 victims, 42 of whom have died.

Like every year, Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) comes out on top, while Ile-de-France represents around 25% of the incidents observed.

For the judicial police, these settling of scores take place against the backdrop of a desire to extend power or territory, weaken an opposing clan in a context of vendetta.

The method of killing must be organized into organized crime: use of firearms or explosives, preparatory acts, ambush, etc.

"Professional killers leave nothing to chance"

At the Paris criminal brigade, investigators are used to working on these homicide cases which are complex, with about 30% of elucidation rate.

They deal with between 20 and 30 murder cases, including half a dozen "legal" per year in Paris or its inner suburbs.

And the beautiful neighborhoods are not spared when criminals frequent the restaurants or nightclubs.

“Professional killers leave nothing to chance,” says his boss, Commissioner Michel Faury.

They use firearms, therefore without physical contact.

The crime scenes are polluted because the victims are suppressed on the public highway or in a bar.

And the families of criminals do not readily cooperate with the police… ”

In the cities, "they make mistakes"

The higher the victim is in the elite, the more professional the assassins are.

These sicariums are recruited outside the usual sphere of their target.

Sometimes they even come from abroad and leave immediately.

“At the police level, we know what happened after six months or a year.

But we are struggling to demonstrate it judicially, reveals Commissioner Faury.

Fortunately, settling of scores in the cities improves the clearance rate because they make mistakes.

"

“The new organization of justice, with its JIRS, is a positive element, welcomes the senior official.

The magistrates who work there are attentive, tested, available and international cooperation has improved.

An essential card to stop the sponsors and the killers who left France.
