- On Father's Day, the water rescuers had to move out from the east bank to bring the crew of a wrecked boat ashore. As Ingo Roeske from the Wolfratshausen water rescue service reports, the alarm was received around 3 p.m. that several people were in the water in front of Ammerland. The motorboat of the Wolfratshausen (Seeburg) water rescue service, which arrived after a short time, found six people, two adults and four children, who were clinging to a flooded pedal boat. Its driver immediately drove to the overturned boat to provide help. The six people were hypothermic and were taken to the Ammerland water rescue station. After being examined by an ambulance service, the casualties were able to start their way home; they did not need to be admitted to the hospital. A total of two emergency doctors and five ambulances were on duty.In addition, there were the motor lifeboats of the Wolfratshausen and Ammerland water rescue service and the DLRG Schäftlarn-Wolfratshausen. Divers did not have to move out. The capsized boat was brought ashore.
