Kuwait announces monitoring of infections with the Indian mutant from Corona

Today, Kuwait announced the detection of infections with the Indian variant of the Corona virus, which bears the name “Delta”.

And the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted a spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health as saying that “after the results of the genetic planning, some cases of infection with the Indian mutant from the Corona virus were confirmed in the country,” explaining that the ministry conducts genetic tests for the virus periodically to find out the type of mutation patterns spread in Kuwait and to open Prospects for cooperation with countries of the world to unify efforts to combat the virus and succeed in eradicating it.

And the World Health Organization announced last May that it classified the Indian mutated version of the Covid 19 virus among the list of the most dangerous mutants than the original version of the virus.
