For the assassination of his former companion Julie Douib, on a Sunday in March 2019 in Haute-Corse, Bruno Garcia-Cruciani faces life imprisonment.
And this Wednesday, June 16, this is what the Advocate General demanded against him.

"You can ensure that Julie Douib is not an anonymous, a statistic, a figure, the number 30 of the 149 feminicides that occurred in 2019. You can give her a dignified judicial burial"

“ cycle of violence ”
in which the young woman found herself trapped.
The accused denies any premeditation
The accused, now 44, has never denied having killed the mother of his two children.
After the tragedy, he had moreover surrendered himself to the gendarmerie.
On the other hand, he denies having premeditated his gesture.
A position rejected by civil parties and the prosecution.

The indictment of the general counsel having been completed, Me Camille Radot will now plead in favor of his client Bruno Garcia-Cruciani.
The latter will have the floor last, before the Assize Court of Haute-Corse withdraws to deliberate.
The verdict is expected in the afternoon.
