The joy at the groundbreaking for the branch of the Langenbach kindergarten Mooshäusl was great.

Even if it took longer due to the requirements of the authorities.

Langenbach

- The "Mooskobolde" still have to wait a bit before they can move into their new domicile on the former Waldmarie property on the old Inkofener Straße. At the idyllic place next to the alluvial forest, a mini-daycare center is being built with all the chicanery. As architect Dominique Tzschoppe explained at the official start of construction on Thursday, a modern wooden building with a group room, five bunks, a toilet and an all-purpose room awaits the new twelve-person nature group at the Langenbach kindergarten Mooshäusl. There is also an entrance area with a cloakroom.

The building has a wood-burning stove so that the “Mooskobolde”, as kindergarten director Silvia Aumüller has named the new group, doesn't have to freeze in winter.

“The main focus, however, is to be outside.

We want to adapt to nature, ”said Aumüller about her idea of the new branch, in which, in addition to the already 70 children of the integrative facility in the village, a dozen other children will romp around.

Mayoress "almost lost her courage"

As Mayor Susanne Hoyer expressly regretted, that should have been the case since May. "In the meantime I almost lost my courage," said Hoyer about the long procedure with the authorities. There were strict requirements regarding the statics and fire protection of the planned building. "I had the feeling that the children were being forgotten by the district office," the town hall chief recalled. "I thought we were building a skyscraper," she joked on. The local boss also said that one can now be proud of having met all of the requirements. “Everything is taken into account that helps keep our children safe,” she said.

Hoyer would have loved to have the children with them at the groundbreaking ceremony.

"That's what I miss most," she said to those involved.

“Ten little dwarfs” who would lend a hand at the groundbreaking ceremony, that would have been their ideal.

But since this was not possible because of Corona, a small group of officials finally took action to finally get the start of construction on the way after one and a half years of planning and redesign.

Building authority Peter Kiessling put the costs for the new branch of the Mooshäusl kindergarten at “roundabout 150,000 euros”.

Including outdoor facilities, he added.

Ideal property

Silvia Aumüller left no doubt that the space on the community's own property was ideal for a nature group.

“There are many bushes and herbs here that you can take” and include in the children's everyday lives, said the Mooshäusl boss.

Not to forget the tree population, which, according to architect Tzschoppe, remains in its entirety.

If everything goes well and the companies play along, the mini-daycare center in the middle of nature can go into operation in September, according to Hoyer.

In the meantime, the town hall chief left it open with the reference to Corona whether an inauguration ceremony is possible.

Fabio (12) is seriously ill.

A new therapy bike could give him new courage and self-determination.

But the health insurance does not pay - despite the recommendation of the doctors.
