During the past 24 hours, the health authorities in Russia recorded 652 deaths and 20,616 new infections with the Corona virus.
The Russian Epidemic Control Center announced that the new infections were distributed among 85 Russian regions, the largest number of which was recorded in the capital, Moscow, 6209, followed by Petersburg, 2453.
According to the center, the number of HIV infections in Russia rose to 5,493,557, of whom 1,34,545 died, while 498,037 recovered.
The Russian authorities have taken a number of measures to motivate citizens to increase the demand for vaccination against the virus, and have imposed mandatory vaccination in a number of professional sectors to confront the increasing number of HIV infections recently.
