On Tuesday, the government pledged to guarantee a support solution up to the age of 21 for each young person from the Social Assistance to Children (ASE) who becomes of age.

said Adrien Taquet in the Hemicycle.
A government amendment, tabled within the framework of the draft law on child protection examined by the National Assembly, proposes to enshrine in the law the automaticity of the "youth guarantee" - a monthly allowance and support for 16-25 year olds in a precarious situation - for anyone from ASE.
This help will be systematically offered during the interview to prepare for coming of age, carried out before leaving this care.
At the same time, the departments, piloting this policy, should be able to offer a "young adult" contract to all former children.
