At the end of the week, the Benjamin Council signed a broad agreement of its kind for the installation of fiber optics in all of the council's localities.
The agreement with the Net-Fiber project, in collaboration with Rimon Internet, Telran and X-Fiber, was signed after the completion of a large tender that the council has been working on in recent months.
Work will begin after the holidays and residents who are interested in connecting to the fiber optic infrastructure will enjoy high speeds of up to 1 GB as well as advanced end equipment for the home that will allow strong WIFI reception, as required at these times.
Those who join will be able to choose between high-speed internet on fiber optic or high-speed internet on top of fiber optics that Rimon will provide online.
The council made sure that the market remained open to competition in any situation.
