In a video, individual contributions to climate protection in Memmingen in the urban forest, in the area of day-care centers and at the municipal utilities were presented to the audience.

Maximilian Mai, Director of the Memmingen Clinic, provided information about the extensive planning for the planned new clinic.

If everything goes according to plan, so Mai, a move to the new clinic campus is possible in 2029.

The costs would be around 360 million euros, with a subsidy of 75 percent can be expected.

A model of the planned clinic could be viewed in the foyer of the town hall.

Clinic costs 360 million

The development of Memmingen's east was the focus of a presentation by Uwe Weißfloch, head of the city planning office. For this purpose, a climate team was founded this year.

Funding application for Kombibad

In his explanations on the combined pool, the mayor stated that the application for funding for the large construction project would be submitted to the government of Swabia in the fall.
