- Under what circumstances did you meet Master Corporal Maxime Blasco?

I wrote a report on mountain commando groups in July 2020. I followed them in a selection, ski touring and an exercise, near Vulmix, in Savoie.

As I knew the achievements of Maxime Blasco, I wanted to spend time with him.

It was a bit difficult because he was quite low-key.

I had also met his partner, Alexandra, and we had discussed courage, the meaning of commitment, his motivations and his career.

He was an endearing guy.
