The main part of the UN General Assembly has already ended and most of the leaders have already left New York. Due to the Sukkot holiday Bennett arrived in New York towards the end of the UN General Assembly and will speak on its last day, which is usually addressed by foreign ministers and heads of state.
Today, alongside the preparations for the speech, Bennett will hold a meeting with Bahrain's foreign minister and with the minister in the United Arab Emirates' foreign ministry, to mark a year since the signing of the Avraham agreements. On Monday, after his speech, Bennett will meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
Later that day, Bennett will address the Jewish Federations of North America and other Jewish organizations in the United States. In recent years, during visits to the United States, former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rarely met with Jewish organizations in the United States amid tensions over the abolition of the Western Wall outline and the conversion law.
Bennett is expected to stay in New York during Simchat Torah and take off for Israel on Wednesday morning according to Israel time.
He is expected to land back in the country on Wednesday evening.
