At about 10 pm today (16th), the police received a report that a speedboat about 8 meters long off Sam Mun Tsai Road, Tai Po, had capsized. Initially, at least 12 people, including 10 men, 1 woman and a baby, had fallen into the sea. Everyone was rescued. Initially, 8 men and 1 woman suffered minor injuries and were rushed to Nethersole Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The police are investigating the incident.
