“Code week is a really good time to learn about programming.
It's an event where everyone shares their resources at the same time, ”says Delphine Thibault.
But she did not wait for this event.
It's been six years since this teacher from Châlonnaise started programming and coding.
“I discovered this when I was a digital trainer.
And since then, every year, I offer programming activities to my students ”.

From 7 or 8 years old, children can thus code trips using suitable programming software, which will then lead them to the production of simple algorithms.
“For my CM1 / CM2 class, explains Delphine Thibault, I launched a project on a dedicated time and I added more sessions for Code Week.
They will thus learn movement programming with a small character.
Thanks to a programmable card and the actions of a small motor, they will move their astronaut's arm as they wish.
They love it, it's a bit magical because they create everything by themselves ”.
Parents impressed
And in the classroom, the enthusiasm of the schoolchildren was immediate. At first, they made their little cardboard astronauts, whose detached arm is motorized. And on Friday, as part of this Space project, they will post their filmed achievements online via the La classe des astronautes twitter account. “Everyone is very motivated because they create something lively. It gives them a complete learning because they engage in a multidisciplinary approach ”, rejoices the teacher. And some shares of the first prototypes of astronauts have already hit the mark on social networks.
As for the parents, they are impressed.
“In December, we are therefore going to organize a parent / child shared moment to share the knowledge acquired in class,” explains Delphine Thibault.
A way to always better promote the advantages of digital in learning.
