There were 4 fatal car accidents in Hong Kong yesterday (31st), 2 of which involved bicycle accidents, which claimed the lives of 2 lawyers.
It is reported that one of the victims in the car accident was a 60-year-old lawyer, Fu Yukang. He was caught in the underside of the coach by a tourist bus when he was cycling on Xiangdong Road, Lantau Island, and killed him yesterday morning.
According to the website of the Law Society of Hong Kong, Fu was admitted as a lawyer in July 1997. He has practised for more than 20 years and has provided legal services in marriage testimony and defamation litigation.
"Hong Kong 01" went to its law firm in Sheung Wan today to find out that the staff confirmed that Fu had passed away unexpectedly and revealed that "Qu Qin walked on the day" and knew that "you like to ride bicycles."
As for the future arrangements of the law firm, it will be determined after discussing with the consultant of the law firm and the Law Society. At present, the law firm still has other lawyers who can provide services.
In another car accident, the deceased was Barrister Chung Jiankang. When he was cycling on Ting Kok Road, Tai Po last night, he lost control of the bicycle trail off the Tai Po East Fire Station. He suffered serious head injuries and his helmet was bloodied and damaged.
Zhong was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment and was certified dead.
A staff member confirmed that Fu Yukang had a traffic accident yesterday (31), saying that he loves to ride bicycles on weekdays, and that arrangements for the law firm after his death are still being discussed with the Law Society.

The incident occurred at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. Fu Nan was riding a bicycle along the left side of Xiangdong Road towards Tung Chung. A tourist bus followed his bicycle behind.
When approaching the vicinity of Yin'ao Bay, the tourist bus climbed to the opposite line, and the bicycle stepped on the opposite line at the same time.
Fu Nan was run over and died at 12:24 noon after being sent to hospital for rescue.
The 25-year-old Qin tour bus driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.
The Special Investigation Team of the Transport Department of the New Territories South Region is following up the investigation.
A cyclist on Xiangdong Road was knocked down by a coach from the back and was killed in hospital.
