Tragic accident in Brazil: a man flees from an aggressive swarm of bees.

Only a little later, piranhas eat him.

Brasilândia de Minas - A 30-year-old man in Brazil wanted to go fishing in peace with two friends, but the trip took a tragic turn.

While fleeing from an aggressive swarm of bees, he was eaten by piranhas, reports several Brazilian media unanimously.

The tragic accident occurred at a lake in Brasilândia de Minas in the state of Minas Gerais.

There the man was fishing with his two friends when suddenly an aggressive swarm of bees appeared and attacked the anglers.

The trio then ran for their lives and jumped into the lake.

As a result, the anglers shook off the bees, but only two of the three men were able to save themselves on the bank.

At first there was no trace of the third man.

A search operation by the fire brigade in Brasilândia de Minas was also unsuccessful.

It was only days later that passers-by made a terrible discovery on the shores of the lake in Brazil: They found the disfigured body of the 30-year-old.

Piranhas had eaten him and left clear bite marks on his face and body.

However, the fire department assumes that the man drowned before the fish ate him.

Piranhas are native to South American waters and are known for their razor-sharp teeth.

With this they tear whole pieces of flesh out of their victims' bodies.

Like the vultures on land, the piranhas in the water eat the carrion *.
