The General Authority of Daraa Hospital recorded the first infection with the black fungus, which was received in the medical isolation department of the authority.
And the Director-General of the authority, Dr. Bassam Al-Hariri, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that a man in his fifties was referred to the hospital with a case of the Corona virus with severe complications, and he was placed in the medical isolation department, and after diagnosis it was found that he had a skin and brain infection with the black fungus.
Dr. Hariri indicated that the medical staff is making every effort to provide treatment to the injured and follow up his condition.
The black fungus affects people with weak immunity, including corona patients.
