Tehran-Sana
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian made it clear that his country voluntarily chose to participate in the Vienna negotiations.
Abdullahian said during talks via video technology today with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi that the failure to reach an urgent and good agreement related to the nuclear agreement is the result of America's illegal withdrawal from the agreement and the European parties' failure to abide by their commitments.
Regarding technical problems with the International Atomic Energy Agency, Abdullahian stated that a preliminary agreement was reached with the agency to solve all outstanding problems during the visit of the Agency's Director General, Rafael Grossi, and a joint statement is being followed up at the first possible opportunity.
On the other hand, Abdullahian denounced the interference of the US entity in China's internal affairs.
For his part, Foreign Minister Wang Yi considered the resumption of negotiations and the recent visit of the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency to Tehran as a positive development, noting the just positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the context of reviving the nuclear agreement, stressing China's rejection of any extremist measure regarding this agreement.
