The residents of Quneitra Governorate and the occupied Syrian Golan held a memorial ceremony on the occasion of the forty days of the martyrdom of the liberated prisoner, Medhat Al-Saleh, who was assassinated by the Israeli occupation forces in front of his home in the liberated Ain Al-Tineh site opposite the town of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan.
The participants in the memorial, which was held at the Ain al-Tineh site, affirmed the continuation of the path of pride, dignity and heroism that our heroes and our prisoners drew with their pure blood and their solid will that broke the jailer’s chain and won over him and their adherence to the resistance until the liberation of our entire occupied land.
The participants stressed that the Golan has a land, population and history that was and will remain Arab and Syrian despite all the Judaizing measures that the Israeli occupation authorities are trying to impose by force.
The Governor of Quneitra Abdel Halim Khalil, in a speech to him, praised the life of the freed captive martyr Medhat Al-Saleh, which he started as a fighter from his childhood when he participated in what is known as the secret resistance of the sons of the occupied Golan and during his detention for 12 years and completed his career after his liberation from prison and his return to his homeland Syria, pointing out that the martyr He was one of our national symbols, carrying in his heart and mind the love of the land, the homeland and its body in his work.
Dr. Yasser Al-Saleh, brother of the martyr Medhat, explained that the martyrdom of his brother is a medal on the forehead of the honorable and the hero, and a stain on humanity and the Zionist occupation, which does not recognize the law or international covenants and practices organized terrorism.
On the other hand, the people of the occupied Syrian Golan and delegations from occupied Palestine gathered in the occupied town of Majdal Shams to participate in the funeral of the martyr and expressed their pride in the heroic prisoners who refused to surrender to the practices of the Zionist enemy.
Dean of the Syrian prisoners, the liberated captive, Sidqi Al-Maqt, affirmed his confidence in the liberation of every atom of the pure soil of the Golan and its return to Syrian national sovereignty, stressing to follow the path of the martyrs who stained the soil of the occupied Golan with their pure blood.
In the speech of the delegation of occupied Palestine, Raja Agbariya expressed that the memorial service of the martyr Medhat Al-Saleh is a day of dignity, noting the cohesion of the positions of the sons of the occupied Golan with their brothers in occupied Palestine against the Zionist enemy, which is striving to plant more cancerous settlement outposts on the land of Palestine and the Golan.
In a statement to SANA reporter in Quneitra, Hadiya Abu Zaid, wife of the martyr Medhat Al-Saleh, stressed that the martyr was and will remain a torch to guide the people of the Golan to liberate their land, pointing out that the return of the martyr Medhat to live and live on his family’s land in the site of Ain Al-Tineh opposite his occupied town Majdal Shams relieved the Israeli occupier, who tried He was assassinated more than once.
