Power outages occurred on Thursday in various villages in the Hallertau.
The network operator knows the cause and tries to rectify the fault.
Au / Hallertau
- For many of those affected it is likely to be an extremely annoying déjà vu: After the power failed in Au in der Hallertau in mid-September of this year, the electricity network was again disrupted this Thursday.
However, that much is already certain, this time a significantly larger number of localities and certainly more than the 1,000 households at the time will be affected.
Power failure in large parts of the Hallertau - Bayernwerk names reason
There are currently reports of failed power from, among others,
Au / Hallertau, Nandlstadt, Rudelzhausen, Attenkirchen, Mainburg, Wolnzach, Rotteneck, Elsendorf, Staudhausen, Schweitenkirchen, Rohrbach, Aiglsbach and Geisenfeld
.
As in September, the responsible energy supplier is Bayernwerk Netz GmbH.
Their deputy press spokesman, Michael Bartels, reported to our newspaper that an incident was the cause: "While working on a 110 kV high-voltage line, one rope fell back on another." This led to protective shutdowns in the network, including three of the operator's substations failed.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
In the first exchange with our editorial team, the spokesman was not yet able to tell where exactly the incident occurred and how long the effects on electricity consumers in the region will last.
Nevertheless, Michael Bartels had two good news: "Fortunately, there was no personal injury in the incident and no further property damage."
