”, exclaims, determined, Zlatko Kokanovic, veterinarian and farmer in Gornje Nedeljice, a village located 150 km west of the Serbian capital, in an agricultural region . With the collective “Do not give the Jadar”, this father of five is opposed to the pharaonic lithium mining project of the Anglo-Australian Rio Tinto. The company plans to open a mine 600 meters deep to exploit what is estimated at 10% of the world's reserves of the precious ore, essential for electric cars.
