The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again called on the international community to take decisive practical steps and put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its settlement plans in the Palestinian territories.
The ministry explained in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the occupation continues its open war on the Palestinian presence by expanding settlements and ethnic cleansing operations in the West Bank, in flagrant violation of United Nations resolutions related to the Palestinian issue, foremost of which is Resolution 2334, which affirms the illegality of settlements and calls for its cessation.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the brutal attacks committed by the occupation and its settlers against the Palestinians and their property, which aims to displace them and seize more Palestinian land in favor of settlement and permanently eliminate any chance of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
