Three people were indicted on Friday for the murder of a 40-year-old man, found dead in the trunk of a burned-out vehicle between Tarbes and Lourdes, AFP learned from a judicial source.
The case dates back to November 21.
The gendarmes are called for a vehicle in flames in a field in Juillan (Hautes-Pyrénées), near Tarbes-Lourdes airport.

Tuesday, the three suspects, a couple from Azereix, a neighboring village of Juillan, and a third person living in Tarbes, are arrested and placed in police custody.

" recognized the facts, according to the prosecutor of Pau, Cécile Gensac.
The autopsy will determine that the victim succumbed to the stab wounds.
According to a source close to the investigation, an argument broke out during a card game which brought together the suspects and the victim on Saturday evening, 20.
All three were remanded in custody, after their presentation before the judge of the criminal center of Pau.
One of the indicted has already served a 20-year prison sentence.
The investigations are continuing within the framework of a judicial investigation, opened on November 25.
