Daraa-Sana
This evening, the Daraa Tourism Directorate lit the Christmas tree in front of the commercial complex of the White Rose Hotel in the center of Daraa city, in preparation for the glorious Christmas and New Year's Eve.
The lighting of the tree was accompanied by plays inspired by the occasion of the City League Ceremony Band of the Revolutionary Youth Union branch.
The participants expressed their joy at the approaching Christmas and New Year's Eve, expressing their hope that the coming year will be a good year and the return of safety to all Syrian lands.
Director of Tourism Yasser Al-Saadi said in a statement to SANA that the event is on the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day and a message that Syria is the land of love and peace.
The lighting of the tree was attended by the Governor of Daraa, Eng. Louay Map, and the Secretary of the Daraa branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Hussein Al-Rifai.
