A 30-year-old Ramat Gan resident was arrested by police over the weekend on suspicion of assaulting her two children, a five-month-old baby and a 5-year-old boy. The woman was arrested and her detention extended until tomorrow (Monday).
According to the suspicion, as a result of the assault, the baby was hospitalized for medical treatment at Ichilov Hospital.
As stated, the suspect was arrested and questioned on suspicion of assault and helpless abuse, and was then brought before a judge and her detention was extended by four days, until tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a couple of parents from Holon, the suspects who abused their 9-month-old daughter after fractures were discovered in her body, will be brought in for further detention today.
Police will ask the court to extend the two's detention for another eight days.
