Dozens of Palestinians participated this evening in a vigil in the city of Ramallah in the West Bank in support of the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer.
According to the Palestinian Wafa Agency, the participants in the vigil organized by the Palestinian national forces raised Palestinian flags and banners calling on the international community to take urgent action to pressure the occupation to release the prisoner Abu Hamid, who is living in difficult health conditions that threaten his life and the rest of the prisoners in the occupation’s prisons, especially the sick.
The cities of the West Bank witness daily solidarity vigils in support of the prisoner Abu Hamid, who has been detained since 2002, calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to release him immediately, especially after his health deteriorated days ago and his coma and his placement on ventilators as a result of his suffering from the consequences of the operation to remove a cancerous tumor in lungs;
