Baden-Württemberg's Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens) wants to inform the state parliament this Wednesday about the further course in the fight against the corona virus.
As usual, Kretschmann wants to present the plans in parliament shortly after the Prime Ministers' Conference, a government spokesman confirmed on Monday to the German Press Agency in Stuttgart.
Stuttgart - Immediately before the switching conference of the federal and state governments this Monday, it was said that the previous measures should be retained in view of the danger posed by the Omicron variant.
If that happens, Kretschmann then faces a difficult decision.
Because the green-black state government actually has to put its tiered system back into force after a court ruling at the end of last week, which would mean easing at the moment.

On Friday, the Administrative Court declared the freezing of alert level II with severe restrictions for the unvaccinated to be partially unlawful.
Because the burden on hospitals has decreased - relatively speaking - in the past few weeks, the government should actually relax the measures a little.
However, Kretschmann has already explained that the previously planned rules for the alarm level should be adjusted and possibly tightened.
