The youngest of Lucile Bordes questions us from its title.
Let's think: what is the use of beauty?
Can we say that it is useful and, if it is, does that mean that we can produce it?
If it's useless, then can we do something useful with it?
But wouldn't it be because it is useless that it is useful?
Beauty allows us to go beyond usefulness.
So what is it, basically?
Isn't it a fiction?
This is the whole purpose of this sensitive and introspective text that takes us to the frontiers of the essay, the philosophical tale and the science fiction novel.
