A computer scientist from the Rennes police station ended his life on Thursday morning by jumping from the roof of the establishment, on the seventh floor,

His body was discovered by his colleagues a few seconds after the incident, in the interior courtyard of the police station, located on Boulevard de la Tour d'Auvergne.

The Rennes police had already been bereaved last month by the suicide of a police officer working at the interregional directorate of the judicial police (DIPJ).
