The German House of Representatives will convene especially on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day


On the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Speaker of the Knesset, MK Miki Levy, will speak today (Thursday) in the Bundestag, the German Federal Parliament, and will be the first in his position to speak from this stage, and in the Hebrew language. 

MK Levy, President of the German Parliament in Arbel Bass and President of the Austrian National Council Wolfgang Subotka, gathered at the entrance of the Reichstag in Berlin for a joint photo, next to a huge statue erected especially to mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day, meaning: "We remember."

The Speaker of the Knesset is in Germany in a series of political meetings with the top echelons of the government.

The Speaker of the Knesset said during the moving event: "The Holocaust is an irreplaceable scar in human history.
