Serious incident in Nafha prison: The Palestinian news agency "Shihab", which is affiliated with Islamic Jihad, today released a video from the prison's security camera in which security prisoner Yussef al-Mabhouh is seen attacking, beating and trying to stab the third officer.
The officer was lightly wounded and the terrorist was neutralized by other guards.

The incident took place in December, at a time when there was severe tension in the prison and there were even warnings about possible harm to the guards.
The video apparently reached the news agency through the inmate's defense attorneys, who received the evidence prior to his trial.
The IPS said that "this is a serious terrorist incident involving a prisoner being hit by a security prisoner, who was neutralized within minutes by reinforcements from the prison's security unit.
The prisoner was immediately imprisoned in segregation and a thorough inspection was carried out to locate weapons, in which additional prisoners were imprisoned in segregation and the security procedures and protection of the guards were sharpened.
"The IPS sought to charge the prisoner with attempted murder, and at the end of the prosecution's examination, an indictment was filed against him for an act of terrorism and aggravated sabotage."
