The commander of the commando brigade, Col. Manny Liberty, and the commander of the Egoz unit, Lt. Col. A., also visited Lt. N. at his home, and ordered the promotion of regular care and accompaniment by a mental health officer.

In addition, Col. Liberty began addressing the issue of continuing N.'s military service in accordance with the recommendation of the professionals.

According to sources close to the family, the officer's mood is extremely poor, and at this point he is at home and has not yet returned to service in the Walnut unit.

Meanwhile, military officials have updated that within the Walnut Unit there is a process of escorting mental health officers to the fighters following the disaster and providing tools to commanders at various levels, which will help identify negative effects like stress and anxiety as well as coping tools.

The Walnut unit has not yet returned to operational activity and is mainly engaged in training these days.

And according to sources in the unit, it is expected to return to activity very soon.
