After the poisoning of a dog, the Bad Tölz police are investigating a white powder that an animal owner found on her walk in the Hohenburg area in Lenggries.

The police are investigating this question in their investigations after a dog in Lenggries showed symptoms of poisoning after a walk near the Hohenburg.
Passer-by warns dog owner in Lenggries of rat poison
According to the officials, the affected dog owner, a 47-year-old Lenggrieserin, was walking with her unleashed animal in the area of the St. Ursula schools in the forest on Wednesday (April 13).
A local resident spoke to the woman and pointed out that rat poison had been distributed in a bush.
In fact, the dog showed signs of poisoning the following day and required veterinary treatment.
The vet costs amount to 2500 euros.
Dog owner hands over white powder to the police
The Lenggrieserin ensured a white powder on site that, according to the police, she found on a "kind of compost heap" and handed it over to the officers.
Now the police are investigating what the substance is and whether it was deliberately released to harm dogs.
