Hundreds of Israeli settlers today stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron in the West Bank, under the protection of the occupation forces.
Wafa Agency reported that hundreds of settlers stormed the Temple Mount, under heavy guard of the occupation forces, which intensified their presence in its surroundings, and set up roadblocks at the junctions and entrances leading to it, and prevented Palestinians from accessing it.
The occupation authorities announced the closure of the Temple Mount to Palestinians, in preparation for the settlers' storming of it, from ten o'clock at night last Sunday until dawn tomorrow, Wednesday.
The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments confirmed that this closure is a blatant attack on the sanctity of the Haram and the right of Muslims to access their places of worship.
