In the Hung Shui Bridge murder case, the police today (1st) charged a 25-year-old man surnamed Wu with one count of murder. He will appear in Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts this Tuesday (3rd) morning.
Last Friday (29th), the police arrested the man on suspicion of being related to a murder case at Fuan Garden, Tianxia Road, Hung Shui Qiao, on the same day, in which a 30-year-old cohabiting girlfriend surnamed Ye died.
The deceased knew the suspect while working at the Tsuen Wan Slaughterhouse.
Last Friday (29th) around 6:00 a.m., a passerby was near the Esso gas station at No. 70, Tianxia Road, and found Wu Nan using a trolley, dragging a piece of quilt, paper, paper bags and fresh-keeping paper. The human-shaped object was walking on the street towards the public toilet, and he was shocked to report to the police. The police intercepted Wu Nan on the spot and revealed the murder case.
The female deceased, surnamed Ye (30 years old), knew the suspect while working in a slaughterhouse in Tsuen Wan, and developed into a couple. The two lived together in a unit of Fu On Garden, Hung Shui Qiao.
Preliminary autopsy showed that the deceased had a wound of about 1 cm and blood on the back of the head, bruises on his hands and left shoulder, and burn marks on his legs.
Three other tenants, aged 27 to 31, were also arrested on suspicion of preventing the legal burial of bodies (also known as illegal disposal of bodies).
