Iran confirmed on Tuesday (May 17th) it had arrested two French nationals who authorities say tried to stir up unrest by meeting with teachers' union representatives, state television reported.

Television broadcast images of these two people, a woman and a man aged 37 and 69 according to the authorities, from their arrival in the Islamic Republic on April 28 until their arrest on May 7.
