Threatening clouds, rumblings, impressive rains and sometimes large hailstones… The same scene repeated itself almost everywhere in France this Saturday.
Sixty-five departments ranging from the South-West to the North and East are placed in orange vigilance for thunderstorms from Saturday 4:00 p.m. until Sunday morning.
Heavy rain fell on the Pays de la Loire, Normandy, Île-de-France, the Massif Central and the south-west of the country before reaching the center of the country, Burgundy, Lorraine, Champagne , Hauts-de-France and Alsace in the evening.
No injuries were to be deplored this Saturday around 8 p.m., but the bad weather did some damage.
In the Landes and Gers, the vines were particularly affected.

"We lost everything," says Nelly Lacave, winemaker and operator 25 km from Mont-de-Marsan (Landes).
The damage is also material: "The windshields of tractors are exploded, and the roofs of buildings transformed into Swiss cheese".
The Landes firefighters carried out 78 interventions in 28 municipalities in connection with the meteorological episode and up to 4,500 homes were deprived of electricity, according to the prefecture.
In the Paris region, in the Yvelines, the prefecture has activated a crisis unit to shelter 6,000 pilgrims and 8,000 shipwrecked scouts from storms.
In the Bois de Vincennes, the 40,000 spectators of the We Love Green music festival were asked to leave the premises at the start of the evening and the concerts canceled.
This Sunday, from Hauts-de-France to the Grand-Est, at the start of the day, still strong thunderstorms will still be possible, with sometimes intense rain, strong gusts of wind and a risk of hail, but during the morning , thunderstorm activity will decrease.
In the afternoon, in the north and east of France, the weather will remain mixed.
From the English Channel and the northern borders to the Alps, clouds and showers will remain numerous, some isolated thunderstorms will even be possible.
