The national flag vandalism case reappears in Xinmin Building, Aimin Village, Ho Man Tin!
At about 12 o'clock this afternoon (25th), some residents found the regional flag and national flag hanging on the patio of the building. The rope tied to the railing was suspected to have been cut, causing a string of national flags to fall to the ground.
Police classified the case as criminal damage.
The reporter went to Xinmin Building in the evening to check and found that the national flag and regional flag hung on the patio platform and the outer wall of the staircase had been repaired.
In the staircase of the same building yesterday, two national flags and one regional flag were also found to be burnt, which the police classified as arson.
No arrests have been made in the two cases, but they were handed over to the Sixth Team of the Kowloon City Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up.
