Three people were killed today (Tuesday) in an accident between a train and a truck in the state of Missouri in the USA. Also, at least 50 people were injured in the accident. Two of the dead were on the train and one in the truck.
The Amtrak train, which traveled from Los Angeles to Chicago, carried more than 240 passengers and collided with a garbage truck.
This is the second fatal accident in two days involving the Amtrak company. Authorities in the state of Missouri reported that the crash occurred at the intersection of a road and a railroad.
