A journey awaited for months.
A holiday in a resort on the ocean to celebrate, together with the little daughter, the marriage which however turned into a drama for a couple from Ancona.
Little Aurora, three years old, has in fact fallen ill, a bad gastroenteritis, so much so that Alessandra Falaschini and Luca Socionovo have launched an appeal on social media entrusted to a video to return to Italy quickly, to guarantee the child the necessary care and avoid the worst.
In a dramatic video, the woman, an obstetrician at the Salesi pediatric hospital, asks the authorities for an intervention.
"I ask for help from the Italian State, we are trying in every way to go home: we are on our honeymoon in Madagascar, at the Andilana Beach Resort - explains Alessandra visibly moved -. My daughter Aurora is ill, she has gastroenteritis and is completely dehydrated ".
The little girl got sick in recent days but her conditions have suddenly worsened perhaps also due to the climatic conditions of the island: the little girl has also accused of muscle spasms.
"We had her examined by the Resort doctor and then twice we went to the local hospital - adds the mother who holds her arm in the video - There the doctors were not able to take a venous access despite two attempts. Under these conditions they then asked me if I wanted to give Aurora some Valium. I replied that it was not the case ".
A medicine that actually does not seem suitable for treating the pathology of the child who, instead, would need to be hydrated in the first place through a drip.
For the couple from the Marche, a stay that was supposed to be carefree and dreamy is turning into a nightmare.
"It seems a surreal situation but it is reality", adds the woman.
The two compatriots tried to establish contact with the local police forces but also alerted the Italian consulate and embassy.
"We ask for help - says the child's mother in the video - we would like someone to pick us up on a private plane, even for a fee, so that we can transfer my daughter for treatment. In these conditions until Wednesday, the date of the flight. I come back, we can't get there. I never thought I'd make this video but I ask you to share it so that it reaches as many channels as possible and someone helps us ", concludes the woman disconsolately.
