Like princes and princesses of a magical fantasy world, the Puff Orchestra of students from the Valley Peace Institute led by Maestro Dalameh Shehab came to the opera stage at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts, where it took on joy and childhood and accompanied the children on a trip to Disney’s City of Dreams to listen to its stories that cemented their memory, but this time in the language of music .

The evening, which was held in cooperation with the Directorate of Technical Rehabilitation and the Salhi Al Wadi Music Institute, under the title “A Journey to the City of Dreams Disney 2”, included a distinguished bouquet of 10 musical pieces for the most famous international children’s films, including “Fella and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Snow Queen”, “Grandma Coco” and others. .

It was accompanied by a visual presentation of the most beautiful moments in the Walt Disney films, which reflected the beautiful world of children and their wishes for a happy life, beauty, love and peace.

General Director of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts Maestro Andre Maalouli spoke in a statement to SANA about the launch of the cultural project for children and young people under the title “A Journey in the Opera”, which started its way with a musical evening with the aim of bringing the distance between them and the house and creating a state of attraction for this segment on the one hand and consolidating the enjoyment of watching The collective of live performances on the other hand, in addition to spreading the musical and theatrical culture among children with the aim of building an artistic and cultural taste for them.

For his part, the Director of the Technical Rehabilitation Directorate and the Salhi Wadi Institute, Priam Sweid, explained in a similar statement that this evening is an extension of the experiment that began in 2018, despite the time difference between them, and today it returned to gather 50 students from the Wind Instruments Department at the Salhi Al Wadi Music Institute, along with 30 A teacher, pointing out that those in charge of the work were keen to select music that is attractive to children and has a familiar impact on their hearing, hoping that this show will tour all governorates.

For his part, the head of the diaphragm department at the institute and the conductor of the band, Maestro Dalama Al-Shehab, stated that the children's musicians participated in choosing the evening's program, which was very popular, which prompted them to announce a second concert on the seventh of this month. Attracting new generations of brass and wood wind instrument players in order to motivate them and develop their skills to support the National Symphony Orchestra.

Clarinetist Darine Harb indicated that she was impressed by the children playing the opera stage to spread happiness to the faces of the audience of all ages. It was established four years ago and was a great success and considered it a new step towards their artistic future.
