The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Tartous, Bashar Shaddoud, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the elements of the Trade Directorate organized catering seizures that affected a gas station in Banias, violating the trade in subsidized diesel with an amount of 2,964 liters, and the fines amounted to 22.203 million pounds.
Shadoud added that the seizures were also organized against 13 bakeries in Tartous, Safita and Baniyas for violating the weight of the bundles of bread prepared for sale and the production of badly-made bread. About 7 million and 81 thousand Syrian pounds.
He pointed out that the seizures also included 5 shops for violating the refrain from selling with the intention of asking for an extra price, issuing irregular invoices, the absence of a specification card, the failure to issue invoices, and possession of expired materials. Food will be closed for a month for each of the two events.
Shadoud explained that four commercial activities were closed, including a gas station in Safita for a period of 90 days with a violation of fraud, a gas depot in Sheikh Badr with a violation of trading in materials not intended for sale, and a hose factory with a violation of practicing the profession without a license and not issuing invoices for its sales, in addition to closing a store in Baniyas for a period of 15 days with a violation.
