Shaked sent Assamese to Likud officials: "We need unity, choose worthy candidates"

The morning of the Likud primaries, thousands of functionaries received a message that tries to influence their election from an unexpected direction - the "Zionist Spirit" party, of Interior Minister and Communications Minister Yoaz Handel.

The message reads: "Each marking out of the 12 markings is very important, if you functioned for Likud mark it wisely"

Since this morning (Wednesday), Likud officials have been visiting the polling stations set up throughout the country, with the aim of influencing the party's list in the next elections, and some of them received a message that tries to influence their election from an unexpected direction.

The "Zionist Spirit" party, of ministers Ayelet Shaked and Yoaz Handel, sent a text message to the cell phones of thousands of Likud functionaries, in which they are called to vote in favor of a unity government that will be established after the elections.

"The Likud officials should elect a unity government this time," the party's statement reads.

"Each of the 12 markings is very important for the selection of deserving candidates."

The announcement also states that "in the Zionist spirit, they believe that Likud officials are a tremendous and significant force that can say today in a loud voice - Israel wants a Zionist spirit, Israel wants unity. Therefore, if you functioned for Likud, mark it smart, mark unity."
