The second day of the Al Sanabel Festival witnessed a variety of poetry and musical evenings and a theatrical performance for children hosted by the village of Amra in the countryside of Tartous, which was held in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture and the Craftsmen Syndicate and with the support of economic activities and the Sabeel Association.
Festival director Dana Abdel Rahim said in a statement to SANA reporter that the activities of the second day included a poetry evening with the participation of Qais Muhammad Hussein, Ali Bilal, Bashar Muhammad, Muhammad Omran and Rafah Habib in honor of the spirit of the poet Issa Habib, and a play for children with disabilities from the Al-Majd Association, in addition to a concert by musician Mahdi Ibrahim. .
Poet and novelist Qais Muhammad Hussein indicated that he participated in three zajal pieces, one of which is a gift for the soul of the late poet Issa Habib, in addition to reciting a poem entitled Invite happiness to foreigners from the poetry of the activation.
Regarding the theatrical work presented by a group of children as part of the talents section, the director of Al-Majd Association for Mothers of Children with Disabilities, Lina Jahjah, explained that the idea of the theatrical performance was taken from a short film called Maria and the Child with Disabilities, its duration is approximately seven minutes, in addition to two songs by Marina Makdissi and the sending of cultural awareness messages. For children with special needs.
The Director of Administration at Al-Sabil Charitable Society, Amira Saud, indicated that the festival is to support various young groups in all cultural, social and other aspects.
The Amrit band concluded with the participation of ten of its members with a group of diverse songs of the giants of Arab art, Once Upon a Time by Mayada Al-Hanawi, above the longing, Mashani Zamani, and repentance by Abdel Halim Hafez, and when you come to mind, my love, by Mrs. Fairuz and other songs performed by singer Rima Habib.
