A funeral service was held for the Queen at Westminster Abbey.

One of the choir boys in particular caught the attention of the crowd.

On the internet he is celebrated as a superstar.

London – Actually, the choir was only supposed to play an accompanying role at the funeral service for the Queen in Westminster Abbey.

A little boy with a curly chestnut-colored head, however, attracted particular attention.

The singing choirboy delighted people online – and almost stole the show from everyone else.

Queen's Funeral: Choirboy Grabs Crowd's Attention - 'He's a Superstar'

"He's a superstar" and "I can't forget the red-haired choirboy, he's having the time of his life" reads the choirboy on Twitter.

And many other tweets revolve around the boy.

"I'm not a fan of prayers and choirboys, even if this red-haired child is living his best life - you have to give him that," writes one user, for example.

The boy obviously impressed the audience with his performance.

But what is behind it?

The Westminster Abbey Choir sang psalms and hymns to accompany the service at the funeral service for the Queen.

Right at the front: the red-haired singer, who really worked hard and sang with fervour.

Again and again he looked briefly at his choir director and then continued to sing the melodies - with a dreamy look.

That excited the crowd.

Charles was also clearly moved at the funeral.

He had tears in his eyes.

Funeral of the Queen: Elizabeth II had already planned a lot - the coffin was ordered over 30 years ago

Westminster Abbey's choir is renowned worldwide and consists of 30 boys and 12 adult singers.

Queen Elizabeth is said to have chosen the songs herself while she was still alive.

The boys and men sang "The Lord's my Shepherd, I'll not want" at the funeral service, which was also played at the Queen's wedding to Prince Phillip, according to the DailyMail.

Otherwise, the Queen had a hand in many areas of her funeral service.

Her coffin, which resembled Prince Phillip's in some details, was commissioned at least 32 years ago.

A special lead cladding was inserted, making it weigh 300 kilograms.

The ingenious planning was clearly noticeable, because there was hardly a blunder - but an anthem trouble about Harry.
