This submarine was launched in 2019 and has been at the disposal of the Russian Armed Forces since last July, according to the Spanish press.

According to the Russian news agency Tass, the submarine can carry up to six of these drones armed with atomic bombs.
According to the note cited by the Italian newspaper, the submarine is in the waters of the Arctic Ocean and could have been involved in the alleged sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, which cut off the supply of gas from Russia to European territory.
