Radio failure paralyzes trains of the Northwest Railway: fault repaired

The massive technical disruption of the Deutsche Bahn in northern Germany also hit the Nordwestbahn hard.
"We are not driving on most of the routes at the moment," said a spokeswoman for the railway company on Saturday.
The entire Weser-Ems network is affected, as well as the regional S-Bahn and parts of East Westphalia.
The only line that was still running, at least at the beginning, was the RB74 between Bielefeld and Paderborn.
Hanover/Osnabrück – According to the information, all connections to Lower Saxony were at a standstill.
According to Deutsche Bahn on Saturday morning, the disruption has been rectified, but impairments are still possible.
The Northwest Railway spokeswoman announced that individual replacement services should be organised.
Buses should be used on line RS1 between Verden and Bremen Hauptbahnhof.
The Hanover S-Bahn was also affected, all trains stood still on Saturday morning, as a spokesman said.
The regional trains from Metronom, Enno and Erixx were also canceled.
According to Deutsche Bahn, the technical fault led to a complete standstill in long-distance traffic in northern Germany.
All ICE, IC and EC trains in northern Germany were affected.
The regional traffic of Deutsche Bahn was also interrupted in large parts of northern Germany.
