Today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the return of 50 Russian soldiers from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime.

A statement by the ministry, posted on its official Telegram channel, said, “On the 24th of November, as a result of a negotiation process, 50 Russian soldiers who were in mortal danger in captivity were returned from the lands controlled by the Kyiv regime.”

Russia and Ukraine have already exchanged a number of prisoners during operations that took place over the past months.

In another context, the Commission of Inquiry in the Russian Federation confirmed that "about a thousand mercenaries from 54 countries that have been monitored have been participating in the Donbass conflict since 2014, and most of them have combat experience gained from conflicts in the countries of the Middle East," noting that it is one of the most active countries in terms of Providing Ukraine with mercenaries Britain, the United States, Canada, the Israeli entity, France, Sweden, Georgia, Finland, Poland and Lithuania.

The committee stated in a report that "by signing a contract with the Ukrainian forces, these mercenaries receive a salary, and are invited to apply for Ukrainian citizenship in a simplified manner," indicating that these measures were taken in order to increase the number of the forces of the Kyiv regime and legitimize the phenomenon of mercenaries.

The committee indicated that such measures indicate the desire of the Kyiv regime to avoid responsibility for the actions of these mercenaries under international law.
