Today (3rd) at 2:41 pm, opposite the Bank of America Center at 12 Harcourt Road, Central, a motorcycle crashed into a private car. The driver of the motorcycle fell to the ground and was then run over by a trailing taxi.
The iron knight was seriously injured and unconscious. Rescue personnel rushed to send the injured to Mary Hospital for emergency treatment.
What was seen at the scene showed that the front tires of motorcycles were twisted, parts were broken and scattered, and helmets exploded and were thrown into the road; the rear glass of private cars on the express lane was blown; taxis were parked in front of the center line.
The police blocked the road for investigation. It is said that the private car was traveling along the Harcourt Road Flyover Express to Central, and was slowing down due to a traffic jam in front of the Bank of America Center. The doctor ran over again.
Police officers at the scene said that because the scene was on the top of an overpass, the motorcyclist might not be able to see the traffic situation ahead before falling off the bridge, but the cause of the accident remains to be further investigated.
The taxi driver involved pointed out that the motorcycle hit the rear of the private car at high speed and then fell to the ground, being run over by his taxi.
The taxi driver said at the scene that he was driving on the middle lane and the express lane was stuck in traffic. The private car involved had just stopped when the motorcycle collided with it.
He described: "The motorcycle crashed and buried at high speed." Iron Knight fell to the ground and rolled to the center line. At this time, he was too far to stop and hit him.
The taxi driver went on to say that the taxi was unloaded and felt that it was rolling. When he got out of the car and looked back, he saw the injured man lying in the road, and there was some movement.
