The Ministry of Defense Committee ordered today (Thursday) that mandatory male and female servants will no longer serve in the SHBS - this, after the case of the pimping of the prison guards, and the State Comptroller's report that revealed the data of sexual harassment and abuse against the SHBS prison guards.
The Shin Bet has about 700 conscripts, about a quarter of whom are women - compared to other organizations such as the police, the MGB, the Mossad, the Shin Bet and the Ministry of Defense, in which a larger number of conscripts serve.

According to the auditor's report, among the mandatory maids, the percentage of maids in the IDF who responded that they had experienced sexual abuse was the largest - 38%. That is, four out of ten female soldiers who served in the IDF experienced one or more sexual abuse during their service.
The report shows that 70% of the sexual assaults were committed by a permanent employee or commander.
In the IAS, 51% of the injuries were committed by permanent employees, 24% by prisoners, and the rest by permanent employees or commanders. In response to the report, the IAS said: "There is no doubt that the findings of the State Comptroller's report indicate that we still have work ahead of us. We will carefully examine the report's data In order to take additional steps to prevent future incidents."
