Mogadishu-SANA
About 20 Somali soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack launched by the extremist "Al-Shabaab Movement" militants this morning on a base of Somali forces in the "Hawadli" area in the Middle Shabelle region, adjacent to the capital, Mogadishu.
According to Somali media, the attack began with the detonation of 4 car bombs in front of one of the camp's gates, followed by direct confrontations between the forces stationed in the camp and the "Al-Shabaab" terrorists.
The attack, which was claimed by the movement linked to the terrorist “Al-Qaeda” organization, comes hours after the Somali forces took control of the cities of “Haratiri” and “Ail Teir” in the state of Galmudug, following battles with the militants of the “Al-Shabaab Movement.”
